Beautiful Louis XVI / Directoire chest of drawers / commode, luxury plum pudding mahogany veneer, ebony and brass inlaid, blue Turquin marble on top, shamrock-shaped lock and key. Late 18th century production circa 1790 - 1800.
Refined Parisian production in the taste of Molitor or that can be attributed to Molitor. Elegant shapes, luxury finish (marble, veneer and key...), top-of-the-range piece for this type of commode.
In excellent condition, varnish has been remade in a traditional way by our cabinet maker. Stunning.
