Large Louis XVI lemon tree, mahogany, ebony veneered commode / chest of drawers with brass inlays.

Late 18th century Parisian work (Louis XVI, Directoire).

It opens with two large drawers and a row of 3 smaller drawers under the white marble. Not stamped, it is the work of a great Parisian cabinetmaker, close to the work of Godefroy Dester. High craftsmanship level with refined wood veneers (lemon and mahogany).

Our piece is in outstanding condition. It comes straight from our restorer who made the varnish in a traditional way. Collector's item, rare to find. Some chapping on the sides, small spots on the white original marble. Locks were changed during 19th century.

Length : 128cm
Height : 91cm
Depth : 59cm
