Regency - Louis XV period violetwood commode, 18th century Parisian production circa 1740, attributed to Jean-Charles Saunier.

Stunning ormolu ornamentation (bearded satyrs, lion heads, rococo locks and handles), oak structure, a thick pink marble on top, beautiful and very elegant lines.

In superb condition ; fully restored in a traditional way (French varnish).

Our piece is veneered with violet wood : 2.5kg estimated weight. It is not subject to CITES certificate.
