Louis XV rosewood and violet wood marquetry chest of drawers / commode, finely chiseled ormolu decoration, grey marble on top. Mid 18th century production circa 1760.
Elegant model, perfect proportions. Jean Baptiste Galet (great Parisian cabinet maker) mark stamped twice, JME mark.
In excellent condition, the varnish has been renewed in a traditional way. Bronze are 19th century pieces - very high quality though ; they fit the commode very well.
