Large Louis XVI half-moon shaped chest of drawers, beautiful 18th century rosewood and amaranth marquetry model, finely chiseled ormolu ornamentation, grey marble on top.

Refined Parisian work, early Louis XVI period circa 1780, large format compared to regular half-moon shaped commodes, but the proportions are perfect. Our elegant commode has a stamp behind the chest that has been erased.

Beautiful piece of furniture in very good condition. Original bronzes and marble. Old normal restorations. The varnish has been remade in a traditional way.
