Pair of Empire candelabras, Empire and French Restoration period (early 19th century).
The pattern was created in 1807-1808 by Claude Galle for Fontainebleau Imperial palace and completed later by his son Gerard Jean Galle.
Top quality level production : finely chiseled, 16 independant pieces, matt and shiny finish ormolu (mercury gilt bronze).
