Pair of ormolu Empire candlesticks, finely chiseled pattern, Empire production - early 19th century circa 1800 - 1805) by Thomire & Cie (after 1823).

Similar patterns are exhibited in the official French collections in Fontainebleau palace.

Elegant and high quality model composed of 7 independant parts.

In very good condition. Mercury gilt is quite well preserved, although locally slightly attenuated. Adapted for electricity.
