Pair of Empire ormolu candlesticks, early 19th century circa 1805.

Beautiful model decorated with stars, matte and shiny gilt ; model by Claude Galle, one of the most talented bronze maker of his time.

In good condition. Original mercury gilt well preserved with some local attenuation.
