French antique pair of ormolu and marble cassolettes - candlesticks, Louis XVI style, 19th century.
Beautiful Louis XVI style, mid 19th century production, decorated with satyr masks, flower garlands and doe feet. Very nice, finely carved bronzes, mercury gilt with a matt and shiny finishing touch.
Beautiful, useful and decorative objects. With the lid put on the first picture side, it is a fine decorative object to be placed on a chimney or a fine piece of furniture. The other way you can use them as a pair of sophisticated candlesticks.
In excellent condition : no accident, gilt is remarkably preserved.
