Beautiful Baccarat crystal cufflinks box, Eglantier pattern, pink overlay crystal, a sterling silver frame and lid. Art Nouveau production, late 19th century or circa 1900.

Eglantier is one of the most famous and valuable patterns among Baccarat's production. It is listed in early 20th century catalogs.

The sterling silver lid (vermeil inside) is also decorated with an Art Nouveau pattern (Eglantier too), a crown of count in the middle. Both frame and lid bear French hallmark Minerva 1st standard. The lid is signed famous French silversmith Cardeilhac.

Refined item to put cufflinks, a signet ring, a watch or any other precious personal item.

In very good condition. No accident. Some hollows on the lid. Vermeil is fresh.
