Elegant Empire inkwell, ormolu (mercury gilt bronze) and yellow Sienna marble, early 19th century production circa 1820 - 1830.

Refined object for a collector, antique-greek-fashioned vase shaped containers decorated with a billy goat. The lids are very finely chiseled. The marble base is held by 4 children busts with butterfly wings.

Luxurious production, spectacular model in excellent condition. The inkwells have their original glass containers inside, in mint condition.
