Beautiful Boulle marquetry and blackened wood, mahogany veneer inside. Mid 19th century production circa 1840 - 1850 (early Napoleon III period).

A PG monogram engraved in the brass cartouche.

Our box is signed Vervelle Aine, prestigious Parisian cabinet maker who used to make small pieces such as boxes, liquor sets and travel sets.

In excellent condition. The key is missing. A small, non significant veneer lack on the edge.
