Vermeil sugar serving set composed of a sugar sifter and sugar tongs in their original box. Late 19th century production circa 1890.

Beautiful model in the so-called a la Russe style, richly chiseled with interlaced rosettes and leaves ; luxurious version, sterling silver being enhanced with yellow gold and pink gold (while normally only yellow gold is used) which highlights patterns and contrasts.

French hallmark Minerva and French silversmith Henry Gabert mark stamped on each piece.

In excellent condition. No distorsion ; vermeil is very fresh.
