Stunning large sterling silver oval dish, Louis XV / Louis XVI style.
Our dish was manufactured by Odiot. Very high quality item (silver thickness...), soberly decorated with ribbons. Odiot bears no comparison with other French silversmiths : he is the most famous and prestigious.
French hallmark Minerva 1st standard (.950 purity silver) and silversmith stamp, together with Odiot mention under the dish.
