Pair of antique French sterling silver salt cellars, Louis XV style.
Beautiful late 19th century production, finely chiseled, top-of-the-range product with vermeil inside, heavy production (75g for the pair is quite an important weight).
French hallmark Minerva 1st standard (.950 purity silver) and silversmith Jules Monney (active from 1884 to 1895) mark stamped.
Louis XV style shell-shaped and flower-decorated salt spoons, also enhanced with vermeil, perfectly match the salt cellars.
The whole set is in excellent condition, in its original box.
