Antique French pair of sterling silver salt cellars, circa 1800.
Beautiful production, typical from 1800's, the glass cellars resting on 3 winged women busts, the two cellars linked by a bat wing-shaped silver piece.
French hallmark coq or cock 1st standard in use between 1798 ans 1809 (equivalent to current Minerva 1st standard, with a .950 purity silver), Association des orfèvres stamp and silversmith Philippe Jean-Baptiste Huguet stamp (active between 1800 and 1816).
In excellent condition.
