Pair of sterling silver salt cellars, cut crystal glasses, early 19th century production.

Beautiful pattern picturing Faithful Love : Putti riding dogs (dogs being faithful symbol).

The silver frame is stamped with the 2nd rooster hallmark 1st standard from Paris (in use from 1809 to 1819, equivalent to current Minerva 1st standard), and silversmith Denis Garreau stamp (who became active in 1817).

In excellent condition.
