Pair of vermeil dessert plates.

Our plates definitely belong to the highest level of refinement ; it is a very rare and refined Louis XVI style production, where sterling silver is covered with both yellow and pink gold to enhance contrasts. In the center on each plate, a large monogram AO or AQ is engraved.

French hallmark Minerva 1st standard (.950) and silversmith's hallmark that we could not identify because it was hidden in the complexity of the border decoration.

In mint condition, no distortion, fresh vermeil, no wear.
