Antique French sterling silver mustard pot, late 19th century Louis XVI style production circa 1890 - 1900.
A coat of arms is engraved, as well as a family motto (à mon but - to my aim).
French hallmark Minerva 1st standard stamped. The silvermaker mark cannot be identified, but this mustard pot comes from a larget set (a table flatware set, a fish flatware set, a whisky bottle), flatwares being identified as manufactured by Puiforcat, which is probably the case for our mustard pot as well.
In excellent condition.
Net silver weight : 110g
Height : 10,5cm (spoon included)
