Empire sterling silver oil and vinegar set ; rare, original and beautiful early 19th century model decorated with winged women busts.
It has various stamps :
- French hallmark rooster 1st standard (in use from 1798 to 1809 for .950 purity silver)
- French silversmith association (in use at the end of 18th century onwards)
- French silversmith Antoine Henri Dubois mark (active from 1798 onwards)
Our set comes together with their two original Baccarat or Le Creusot crystal bottles (Empire productions as well).
The whole set is in excellent condition : no bumps, no distorsion, no chip on the crystal bottles.
