Large sterling silver dish, Malmaison pattern, silversmith Cardeilhac.
Malmaison is an Empire pattern that is still available at Christofle shop, in a silverplate version though. Such a dish would now be sold 800€, only it wouldn't be sterling silver (sterling silver would be sold over 4000€).
There is a crown and an eagle engraved on the edge.
French hallmark Minerva 1st standard, Cardeilhac and Christofle stamps.
Our dish is in excellent condition.
