Empire sterling silver mustard and salt set : 4 salt cellars and a mustard pot with their original glasses.
Beautiful late 18th century / early 19th century pattern decorated with gadroons, eagle-heads shaped handles, pinecone shaped mustard pot hold. Luxury model : each salt cellar weights 133g - almost twice as much as a regular tumbler !
French hallmarks in use between 1798 and 1809 : 1st cock 1st title from Paris, garantee stamp, silversmith stamp. Plus Silversmiths association stamp in use from 1793.
The set is in outstanding condition : no chip, no bump, no deformation. Original cone-shaped glasses. Sold with a mustard spoon that does not belong to the original set, but ideal pattern to match our set.
