Rare set of 6 sterling silver melon knives, elegant Roccoco - Louis XVI style model (Transition), Pompadour pattern.
Its line is pure, decoration is finely carved. No surprise it is the work of one of the best French silversmiths : Emile Puiforcat.
There is no monogram engraved : you can engrave yours, or your coat of arms.
French hallmark Minerva 1st standard (.950 purity silver, the highest grade you can ever find for such items) and silversmith Puiforcat stamp (EP with a knife) on both handle and blades.
They are in excellent condition. No distortion, no bump.
