16 sterling silver table forks and spoons (8 forks + 8 spoons), early 19th century, a MC monogram engraved on each handle.

French hallmark Old Man 1st standard and guarantee stamp in use in Paris between 1819 and 1838. Also, silversmith mark is stamped on each handle.

The whole set is in excellent condition. Such early 19th century silver tableware usually have dents, scratches, worn parts. Our set has visibly been repolished, which makes them very shiny and without scratches, the prongs are particularly well preserved, without wear and very straight. This cutlery set has either been very well restored, or stayed close to new condition despite its 200 years of age. Superb !
